My current research examines the nature of and influences on people's attitudes and actions toward non-human animals and the environment. In particular, I study how these types of attitudes share dynamics in common with human intergroup attitudes (respect, prejudice). I have studied a variety of issues related to prejudice, intergroup relations, psychology of religion, social development and hypnosis. In addition, I am interested in psychological aspects of health and physical fitness.
